Tri County Management is a family owned franchisee of McDonald’s Corporation and currently operates 17 restaurants in Allegheny (4), Beaver (7), Butler (1) and Lawrence (5) Counties.

History

The company was started over 50 years ago by John Sweeney who built a relationship with McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc to develop McDonald’s in western PA.  The first restaurant he operated was in Baden in 1961 and he continued adding restaurants until his retirement in the ‘80’s. His son Paul took the helm and grew the company from just a few restaurants to its present 17 and his daughters are now currently working with him to continue the family legacy.  Because of his success in the business, we recently moved the corporate offices to bigger headquarters to accommodate this growth.
